the filter 'filters' out particles and contaminants from your engine.

the cheaper the filter, the more the particles get down into your engine's piston chambers, causing your pistons and rings to wear out.

and the sound comes from the SRI intake tube not the filter.

 

yea i think a brand name filter like aem or k and n will be better, dont get the ebay filter, my frined got one for his mr2 and it melted and totaled his spark plugs, jus thhought id let u noe and just curious y did u get an sri and not a cai?

Yea, when its snowing u can get ice on your filter if you have a cai and f**k it up.

 

because of super rain we have here now and also snow, and guess what, its snowing like crazying here and i'm gonna be stuck here at work. This just came out of no where. Dam snow
