Well yes it might be a chance but I have heard of people being ok with ebay headers. They definatly aren't the best and I wouldn't do it myself but he isn't going to own the car for very much longer.

 

ebay headers are very risky, not only does the fit usually suck, the welds can easily crack, and the ports aren't matched, and sometimes there are reports of no performance gains at all.

 

ya they can crack and waist your money, but im pretty sure thers gains no matter what just because the holes are bigger, just maybe the gains are not as noticeable as if you were to go with a name brand like dc

 

well sometimes the interior walls are very poorly constructed, leading to little or no gains

 

so Tsudo is an ebay brand like ssautochrome??

 

only think i would ever buy on ebay is something that if it failed it wouldnt cause damage (ie strut bars, short throws,etc) anything critical like a header or an intake could potentialy fail and destroy the engine, so i would stay away from it, i hear good things about megan on this forum though

 

^ Agreed with Jeff. Also, you get what you pay for. My next mod is a header. I am going with DC. Quality products, always on my ride.

 

If an ebay header "fails" then maybe you get an exhaust leak, nothing gets damaged, your car will just be loud and annoying until you fix it. How does an ebay intake fail? It's just a pipe. Maybe if you are talking about the filter but most people do replace those with AEM or k&n's. btw If you break your ebay short throw then you are stuck in that gear until you put a new one on so good luck driving it the whole way home in one gear. I do agree with you guys that ebay stuff is crap and that I'm not going to buy any of it, aside from my intake, but I just likeplaying the devils advocate.
