I/H/E help, worth the costs?

I/H/E will give you very noticeable gains. Anywhere from 10-20 hp, which for a Civic is nearly a 15-20% increase in hp.
For the Intake, the best one across the boards is easily the AEM V2. I don't think many people will argue with that, but alot of people also are a fan of Injen.
For Header, I'd go with a reasonable quality 4-1 stainless steel. The $300+ DC Sports ones simply arn't worth it.
Finally, for the exhaust I've enjoyed the Magnaflow Catback quite a bit. It's a pretty quiet exhaust at low RPM, but once you start pushing the car it gives a rich powerful sound to it.
I spent about $800 for my setup with the V2, Magnaflow Catback and Megan Header.

Well... remember that problem that I thought was an exhaust problem? Well I have a broken motor mount, which means the engine doesn't sit correctly... it just rests right on the frame of the car. A side effect of this is what was happening with the exhaust. Worst part is its a salvage title and the frame is all messed up below and a new motor mount won't fit. So the only solution is to take it to a body shop and have them rework the ENTIRE car frame (they did a crappy job of this the first time which caused these problems) and then fit the motor mount on. I didn't go buying a salvage title as a cost saver, the salesman slipped in it really smoothly right between the moment of me having already decided to buy the car and me writing the check.
So I think all this work is a little beyond my circumstances.

2) The AEM v2 appears to be the best because many people say it is, but any other tube from ebay with an AEM dryflow will be sufficient if you don't want to spend a boat load of money for a few HP. I have a v2 because it was cheap and for the name...
3) For the header, it's simple:
- Buy from DC Sports if you live in California
- Buy from any brand you want if you live elsewhere
- Get a 4-2-1 because Civics need low end-mid end
4) Magnaflow catbacks are good and all, but if you went custom, you'd get a lot better deal.
- aem v2 = $100-$120 used on forums (most of which i've seen are in great condition)
- dc sport header = $80-$120 used on forums (again, most of which are in great condition)
- magnaflow catback = $90 muffler, $100 piping, $100 labor = $290.
$800 is TOO MUCH to spend for just a few HP... IMO, they're only worth getting if you can get them at a good price, which in the aforementioned case, comes to $470.
ya i wanna know some info about the chikera header mins coming in monday and ya i just wanna know if i'll see any difference? sorry for the double thred jacking lol
its just i couldnt find anything useful when i searched it

Megan Racing is great and all (my MR header should be arriving tomorrow) but they don't make headers or exhaust for 05+ non-Si Civics. Just thought you all should know before making any more recomendations.

i bougt a D Csport header, because i couldnt find a megan racing one on any of the sites i was on. do they make them for the 07 SI's? cuz i htought they did. well none the less. i think DC sports makes one for your year make and model car. Exhaust is deffinatly worth the money, however if you plan on going turbo in the future, then intake and header are not worth it as those will need to be taken out for your turbo.
