Default I want to buy AEM V2 INTAKE but.......

Hey

I went to the AEM site to find a V2 intake for my 1996 CIVIC LX....
there actually quite pricey .....but it only says for a manual trans...
does not mention anything for automatic tranny....

Is is the same ****?

you have a D16y7, so find an intake for any 96-00 DX or LX and you will be set

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's a difference in intakes when it comes to intakes......manuals will fit autos and vice versa, as long as you get one that is within your generation and engine.

any sri can be used on an auto or manual. a cold air intake however, will not always fit both at and mt (unless it was specifically designed to be). reason? The automatic transmission is considerably larger then the 5 speed on some vehicles so the intake will have fitment issues.

the V2 will NOT fit your 96 auto car without some fabrication. I've seen it done, but it's definately extra work.
