i've heard that the no-name ones off of ebay dont fit right, but who knows, it might work for you, you should save up and buy a good one, even if it doesnt do THAT much difference, at least you know its a good brand.

The entire reason that those eBay intakes are so cheap is because they're made to fit a whole lot of cars, but not very well. Whereas a good Injen or AEM is made for each individual car to fit perfectly. If you want an eBay intake to look remotely good, youll have to weld on your own brackets and even then it will still look bad. Save your money and get an Injen.

if i may..i purchased an intake for one of my friends cars...it fit very well, and it was about 300 dollars cheaper than the AEM unit...the only difference was that the ebay unit didnt come with a K&N filter, but i went and bought one for him...everything fit very well...and it was an odd application with a oddly shaped MAFS adapter needed...i do see your point with the name brand piece, but he got a great deal seeing as how he spent abotu 70 bucks on the intake, and another 50 ro so on the filter...so quite a discount over the AEM piece...
