Installing SRI....HELP!!!
Okay i just got my short ram intake in the mail yesterday and i am going to install it myself on my 2002 automatic civic ex coupe, but i'm having difficulty following the K & N instructions for a cai (figure i'll follow that and it'll be easier with sri) because i don't know what these certain parts are for and how to use them with the SRI. So i'm going to post pictures of the instructions i'm follwing, my sri, and also the hardware parts i'm having difficulty understanding what to do with them
Instructions: http://www.geocities.com/darkcami/CAIinstallation.pdf
SRI and Parts (that i don't know how to use them)
So can someone please tell me how in the hell do i use those two metal pieces for my SRI?

RE: Installing SRI....HELP!!!
those look like bendable metal hangers, but I'm not totally sure.
if they are, they're used to connect hoses to the engine bay by bending then around the hoses and drilling a screw or bolt through one of the holes and into the wall or surface of your enginebay somewhere.
i would suggest you not drilling into your engine bay unless abolutely necessary.

Mine came with similar metal pieces, they are used to bolt the SRI secure, i used one of the stock airbox bolt locations to secure mine, otherwise it is floppin arround in the engine bay when driving and it would eventually come loose

did you take out your stock airbox yet? you should find a place to attach the intake somewhere under there

I figured that, but how do you use it. How do you secure it. I don't see a spot where it goes on the SRI.
