im wondering if a d15z1 motor has parts interchangeable with a b16 motor for aftermarket apps. and how hard is a b18 type r motor swap into an eg thank u

 

im not sure about the d15 to b series..but i belve most everything in the d series (1.6) is interchangeable with the d15....but i cant tell you exactly what will and wont work!

The b18 swap isnt all that hard..but if you go with the C5...its going to cost you quite a bit....you can use a C1 (gsr) and have it machined to C5 spec. (article in Honda Tunning tells you how...ill edit with the issue when i get home) for a lot cheaper than a true c5. the swap inclueds things like axels...hasport mounts, ecu/harness and shift linkage. the b18 swap is super common so you can find parts for it pretty easily. you can search around here for better answers because the swap question has been asked about 2 million times.
