I was just wondering if i could put an intercooler on my car straight to the intake mani and just plug up the second hole and just have that as my intake. It's just a hunch and if i did then how much hp and ft/lb's would it gain.. if you could i'd just like an estimate if at all possible

 

1. that sounds like rice y spend money on faking that u have a turbo then just to save your money and get the real deal and yea it works but u gone have to mount the innercooler
put on the right side the filter fab some tobing if o dont have any pre bend drill hole for your sensor so gone run u about 600 bucks whit the innercooler or more depends what brand innercooler your goin whit and all that work just u can have "that look" and probably some los in throttle respons but maby whit one of those intercooler systems from nx or nitros who know maby get some hp out of it but dont know100% dident meet enybody that RICE jet"hint-hint"

 

ya, kinda pointless and tacky IMO. might as well get a CAI, prolly wont differ much in power and it'll be hella cheaper. also u'll have a real good estimate of hp with a CAI than with an IC. and like b18c turbo said, ur throttle response wont be as great as a CAI.

your car wont even run if you do it just like you wrote up there. no air will be getting to the engine.

they actualy make kits like you are talking about were they put a intercooler up front and run a pipe up to the intake manifold and doesnt have an opening on the other side.... sounds fruity to me
