I went with the AEM for my 07 si, it works fine. Honestly the only difference you'll notice is better throttle response. If I did gain any power it was minimal and it only helps over 6,000 rpms.

I went with the K & N short ram air on my 07 Civic coupe. Power increase was noticable immediately now I'm checking what it did for fuel economy - seems to be better but have to wait for next fill up.
I live in an area that has deep puddles and sometimes floods during rainstorms so a cold air intake was definately out of the question.

fuel economy usually goes down with an intake because your driving habits change - you will instinctively mash the throttle more
additionally, power doesn't increase THAT much for you to notice immediately. most of the "power" is just an improved throttle response
