Default Length of O2 wire extension?

Two quick questions for the EK gurus:

Parts are on the way for a DX/LX to EX exhaust header/cat swap for my '97 LX.

I've been reading a bit on the swap, and was thinking of just soldering in extra wire for the rear O2 sensor, but then got reading about pre-fabbed extenders, which seem like a much better idea.

1. Wire length?
So what length do I need to get for the extender? I've found them ranging from about 8" to three feet. I don't necessarily need an exact length, but a ballpark figure would go a long way to help me find one that'll work. Everything I'm finding doesn't mention how much the wiring needed to be extended.

2. EX sensor?
If I were to get an O2 sensor for an EX, is the wiring long enough to go from the stock harness (near the distributor) to the sensor's spot behind the cat, or would I still need to have a wiring extension?

Thanks in advance!

Went the simple route, and found some long extenders online. This way, it'll be a nice plug & play effort, and I got it long enough that I can route it around anything that would burn it or otherwise cause it to short out.

Anyway, once I get it all installed, I'll post the wiring measurements here in case anyone can use the info for future use.
