I just got my 08 civic lx, and I'd like to have a bit more acceleration, but don't want to drop $200 or more on an intake, and from past vehicles, I know that induction is usually the easiest way to get a little bit more out of the gas pedal. Any suggestions? I do have a cone filter, but no way to use it at this point.

 

Ok, I take it nobody on this forum knows anything about intakes. Thanks anyway, I'll keep moving.

There isn't an answer to your question... you want an intake, but you don't want to spend money on one. You say you want power, yet you won't spend $200. You aren't going to get much power at all with $200 worth of mods.

The answer to your question is, if you don't want to spend money but you want to mod your car, you need to just "keep moving" to another hobby. Also, if you are performance minded, you should have gotten an Si... that was your first mistake.
