I know what you mean about the "civic" sound. This guy I work with has a hatchback and he basically is running straight pipes all the way back. Rather annoying, loud, and gives me a headache.

Unfortunately for you civic owners, you have a very bad rep for the "fart cans/folgers coffee cans" you put on your cars.

If I could have began my grand prix again, I would have bought headers all the way back and skip the cheap routes.

 

The GReddy Evo2 & the Apexi N1 is a pretty good muffler if you have the money to spend on them

 

N1 is too ricey IMO.

I like the WS2. It doesn't look like a phart can, and it gives a nice mellow tone. Those are the two pre-reqs I have for the exhaust I would put on my car.

 

If youre gonna get just a muffler usually the larger the diameter the deeper tone and less ricey it is but IMO id get the evo 2 cat back. Thats just the best sound ive come across

 

The size of the exhaust matters also, i put a 2.5 inch catback on my car and it has a real deep tone not loud at all.(exept on wot)
