does the magnaflow cat back add a noticeable amount of power? i hear that they sound insane. also does anyone know if the kit for a 2000 ex has a rolled tip, or is it just straight? thanks

straight tip. sounds good. slightly noticeable power gain. expect to pay 300-400 not installed.

thanks, id install it myself, but i just didnt want to go with the typical import exhaust sound. the people i know say the magnaflow sounds good on integras. but no one where i live has the magnaflow or the dynomax kit on an import because they dont know how it would sound. so i am going to get it. thanks for the info.

The Magnaflow website has sound clips/vids of the exhausts on cars idleing, excellerating and a drive by. I know for a fact that they have 06 Si.

its a nice exhaust i have it and it looks great.. nice purr and sounds good WOT. Cost alot but its fully stainless inside and out. Also doesnt have that annoying droning when you are cruising. I felt a small increase in HP and tq at mid and high range. but i also have the random tech cat so maybe that did it for me anyways nice Muffler.. also nice is the Apexi WSII

Does your 05 has two mufflers like the 06 Si Magnaflow exhaust? That is one of the main reasons I am leaning towards the cat back, I am not a huge fan of the buzzy exhausts.

if anything and you like the single piped magnaflow, just look around the forum for the magnaflow muffler and then buy that and get a custom pipe made for the cat back
