I am very interested in getting the Apexi N1 Muffler. I was wondering if anyone had this muffler and if it sounds good - nice and deep tone????. Because I have a maxspeed muffler on right now and it sounds kind of crappy I just wanted to make sure the apexi muffler would sound better.

 

I had an Apexi muffler welded to my stock exhaust system at one time, and it sounded good. It was not the loudest thing in world because of all the stock exhaust piping still on the car. The whole Apexi N1 cat-back system is slightly raspier sounding though, but still sounds pretty good compared to other no-name brands. But the muffler alone did have a nice deep tone; I think you will definitely notice the difference in sound quality over the maxspeed one.
