Default Muffler Help

I am having a local muffler shop put together an exhaust system for me but I need a muffler. Is this a good muffler? I like the way the EVO II sounds and fits but this is just "evo 2 style" not made by greddy. Should I look at something else? If so give me some websites or something. Thanks

Well...I can't say that it will sound like the muffler you want...since its "style" and not the real thing. OBX has a bad repuation but it's better than a no name brand for sure. I don't know what sound you are after, but look into magnaflow or other name brands. Of course, I am recommending Magnaflow because thats what I have. Good luck.

Im looking for a deep tone that isnt loud and ricey. I searched for OBX info and only saw bad things regarding headers and cats and stuff. Are the mufflers bad also?

Thanks for the info.

What diameter exhaust piping should I use for the best results? Idk what the size is now but i was thinking 2.5" is that okay?

Oh And i settled on a street performance muffler from Magnaflow.

2.5" is alright, but getting a little big. 2.25" is probably going to be better for you than 2.5"

Oh and nice choice with the muffler. I'm sure you'll like it.
