Default HELP WITH 99 EX

I just bought a 99 civic ex and was wondering what the top performance parts are for the engine. I believe its the D16 (manual). I was considering AEM V2 intake, DC Sports header, Flowmaster exhaust for starters. I figure thats what most people mess with and would appreciate anyone's input.

Alright Short, consider a short ram, otherwise you seem GTG.

a good header will give you the most power out of the intake, and exhaust.

I would rethink the flowmaster exhaust if I were you. I've honestly heard a lot of negative things about flowmaster, especially on civics. But don't take my word for it, someone else will comment I'm sure.

intake and header are good...i'd research some other exhausts like magnaflow, greddy, megan racing, rs-r...couple other stuff u could do are short throw shifter and high flow cat.

Whatever you buy make sure it has some literature to go with it... graphs and stuff are good but get picky, look for small details such as test temperature, multiple runs, car tested, car tested condition.

With so many crap companies out there trying to make a quick buck its worth the extra effort.
