Default need help finding o2 sensors

so i have a check engine light and it's pulling two codes, both for malfuntioning o2 sensors. it says that bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 1 sensor 2 are out. so i'm looking for new oxygen sensors both primary and secondary for a 97 ex. i have an o2 simulator but it doesn't seem to be working even though the light blinks and the guys i bought it from verified that i installed it correctly. these are two oxygen sensors i found but i don't know if they are the right ones.

this is the primary: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...QQBS13007.html

and this is the secondary: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...3-1608508.html

are these the right parts?

the 2nd one you listed is the primary sensor, and it is the correct part
the first one you listed is the secondary sensor, but it's not for an EX so that's the wrong part

Trust:

The first one says "before catalyst", indicating that it is a primary sensor; however, as you said, it's for the CX, DX, and LX but not the EX model.

The second one is for an EX model, but whether it is a primary or secondary sensor is unclear to me as it states use "At Exhaust Manifold.. At Catalyst Outlet". "At Exhaust Manifold" fits with a primary sensor whereas "At Catalyst Outlet" clearly fits with a secondary sensor.

alright that's true

the second one has to be primary because it says it fits 92-00, but in 92-95 there were no secondary sensors, therefore it must be a primary sensor

Good point. You know, I'm not sure there is any real difference between primary and secondary sensors, aside from possible fitment.

alright well i will try them both ways, however no one has been able to help me with my CEL. getting heater circuit malfunction codes for both sensors and even if they're both hooked up in the right places those are the only codes i get and they won't go away. it seems there is no current going through the heater wires. i really need help for that

Did you clear the ECU to see if the codes don't return?

You may have an open or short in a wire that runs between the ECU and O2 sensor:
