ok well my catalytic converter went bad so i now have to buy a new one. i dont really car if it is a high flow cat or not so i was thinking this one: http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...45&PTSet=A. i like this one because it is made by magnaflow which is a good brand. is this a good deal though

yeah..great cat..TOO bad i couldn't buy that cat for since its not California legal...The California legal cat that just looks like that one is priced at Magnaflow page for over 500.00 just because it's CARB ,EPA, OBDII compliant.

 

do you think it bolts on or does it weld on? cause if it welds on i dont want to take it to a muffler shop to weld it on

 

most cats are welded on. that one included. where do you plan to get it welded on then, if not at a exhaust shop?

 

Yup that cat has to be welded on..It's a universal cat...Go to Summitracing.com they have some great prices on cats including Bolt ons that fit directly with out the need of welding..

 

Try this maybe? Idk exactly what year your car is but look around the Magnaflow website, they might ahve another direct fit (if this one doesnt work). Price is obviously ridiculous (can get that cat welded for $25), but maybe if oyu can find it on another website for cheap.
