new exhaust.. help

Default new exhaust.. help

Hi, im thinking of changing all the exhaust sistem, and i want to eliminate the catalyst.. ( street legal isnt a factor)here in Chile it doesnt mater. Anyway if money wasnt a factor, wich one wold you chose? and what the f#$ must be done with the sensors in the exhaust maifold and the one in the catalyst? i own a 2005 civic ex coupe automatic...opinions please..

you will screw up the ecu and set off check engine lights if you get rid of the cat in the 01+ civics. just get a good cat-back exhaust and a high-flow cat. and a good header.

but isn´t it true that de cat, even a big one "takes out power"?

Anyway can someone help me out with brands and models.. there isnt much for mý car yet( for what i´ve foud).. nor any information here in The south of south america! well maybe one or two theves who call themselves mecanics...

very little, but its worth it on OBD2 cars. you just get a bunch of CELs and you always have to reset them. just get the high-flow. it might cost you 1-2 HP. but when you get a CEL, the ecu goes into limp mode, and you lose way more than that.

the apex N1 is my favorite exhaust system and it sounds really mean. i would go with that one if you can find it but you definatly need your o2 sensors, you dont want to mess around with that stuff
