Default New Honda Civic Si 2005

I had a question abt putting in a CAI , which is the best one for a CIVC SI 2005 , in terms of performance , one that does not scre up the engin , cost , and ease of finding it and instalation. Also does this interfere with the warrenty of the car ??

Need help before I do something stupid after spending a lot of money

Thanks

mel

anything aftermarket will bust yer warrenty...unless it is a part from the company you bought the car from

as far as intakes go..the AEM Cold Air Intake is the best intake out there, its been dyno proven. If you dont live in a wet climate, get the AEM CAI V2, it is an overall better performer than the original, but it has no water bypass valve. So if you get water in it and it gets to yer engine you are screwed. So if you live in a wet climate where it rains a lot, get the original AEM CAI, it does have the water bypass valve available for it.

dont think anyone has a new SI...but i could be wrong

you can get the AEM CAI on ebay for prolly about 200 for the V2, but if you want a new one the V2 averages 250 and the original averages 200 (online). You could prolly go to pep boys or auto zone to get it, they usually carry common tuner parts like exhausts and intakes.

Hey Guys Check this out I found it on the internet , do u think it is real or is it bull crap

Will an AEM intake void my new car warranty?

No it will not. The only time this can happen is if the system was installed improperly and caused damage to the vehicle. If a service technician denies your warranty claim based on the fact that the car has been modified and the failure was not a direct result of the installation and use of an AEM product please refer him to the
SEMA web site for a review of the Magnusson Moss warranty act.
