sounds good
that's the typical size for an aftermarket exhaust

you might also look into getting a resonator installed

i've got 2.25" piping with a 2.25" magnaflow resonator and ****ty eBay muffler, works AWESOME for me, expect similar results.

If you are just running stirahgt pipes from the cat (hopefully you'r ekeeping your cat....) right to the muffler, it's probably gonna be loud. Invest in a Magnaflow resonator and you'll be golden.

Just a question but what advantage would i gain from getting a resonator as well?? and wat will it do?

it makes your exhaust tone less raspy. it quiets it down just a little too. Trust me, a resonator will definitely make your exhaust sound better.

yeah the difference between a straight pipe and a catback with a res is pretty big. If you got a universal Magnaflow muffler, you could probably just use one for a res and one for the muffler if its just a straight through design with 2.5" inlets and outlets. They can be had off eBay for cheap.

I actually have a magnaflow muffler, and ya but the problem is i have to get it welded into the exhaust, which means im paying for the installation twice

i went on magnaflow.com and tried to find a resonator, do you have a link for me?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNA...mZ330274609815

You can use it for either the res or muffler
