Default Noob Looking for Help

Heys guys, I am new here and completely new to the modification scene. However, I really want to get into making modifications to my car. I drive a 2008 LX Coupe Honda Civic and am looking to make my first move. I was thinking either exhaust or a cool air intake. Is this a good place to start? Are these easy enough for someone who knows relatively little about cars to install?

As far as exhaust I am interested in a Magnaflow Catback, intake I am clueless.

Can you guys please push me in the right direction? I am really wanting to put some money into my car!

Thanks

Probably should have specified that I am looking to spend around $500 or less for my first upgrade. So no turbocharger haha

What do you think would be the BEST first modification for this price range if I am looking for a performace gain.

Yea, injen doesn't make one for your car yet either.
You may just have to sit on it for awhile until someone comes out with the technology.
Or you can probably find some cheap ebay one.
Not sure how easy your stomach would settle with that, but I have heard a few (and I do mean a FEW)
cases where ebay(aka off-brand) intakes have done ok.

Intakes are pretty simple to install; SRI's easier than CRI's.
Read the FAQ, it will tell you alot.
