yeah on other threads about O2 sensros everyone siad if you splice into the wires to extend them it will work just fine (Remmy). Will this mess up the signal even if they are correctly spliced? And if its bad to splice into the wires, how are u supposed to install the O2 simulator?

thread jacking my bad

well, i have done a lot of splices in my time.
it does not mess-up the signal - however, there may be a problem down the road if someone does a cheap and easy splice.

i do cut, remove insulation, wrap, solder, and shrink tubing. lots of trouble (get everything out, et al - but it's all part of the job). dont forget to add the shrink tubing before wraping the wires
together. also, put the shrink tubing as far down the wire (whichever end) as you can. it will shrink while you are soldering if you do not.

would it be a problem to move it from the rear to the front in a single tube?

i dont know why my CEL light keeps comen ON.
im about ready to take off the pipe and weld in a bung to mount it in the stock location.... and HOPING that solves the problem with a new o2 sensor also....
