ok heres the deal

I wanna get a diff filter system for my car but the aem v2 is cai system which mean down on the ground, which means water in florida=water in engine=bad, what or my other option short ram, but do i still get power.

short ram will give you some power. i like AEM, and K&N best, but there are a few good ones.

But will I still get the same power I would get with a CAI.

no, but if you run into a puddle, youre better off with the SRI

you better off with short ram, b/c cai would get soaked.

I jus put the AEM V2 in my civ (2001 EX) and it doesnt go down low at all. It sits right behind the radiator fan, which is nice cuz the fan runs alot in this cali heat. blows a lot of cool(er) air into the intake.

Are u sure that the fan blows cool air in to your intake. And besides I thought that the fan blows air away from the engine.

If the filter sits behind the radiator fan then the fan is blowing all the hot air from the radiator into your filter. You see, the hot coolant comes from your engine and goes into your radiator, then the fan blows air through the radiator to cool the coolant. Cool air blows into your radiator and hot air blows out of your radiator.

I just got a K&N cold air intake and it works great for me. you may not get as much power but it still works great
