Default P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) help
This is the reason why my 1997 Honda Civic LX just failed the emissions test.
Could it be a guarantee that i have to change the catalytic converter?

What are the problems related to this? Pls help.

Its either that the cat is bad or the o2 sensor is bad I've got the same problem with mine I'm replacing both

I think im gonna end up changing the cat converter. I know this guy that is willing to change it plus the timing belt and the water pump with labor for $850. Very pleased with that price.
