Default Pacesetter/OBX Question

Is it true that Pacesetter design their product good but they use crappy material??? cuz someone on mx6 forum said that Pacesetter header gave them the most hp out of every header out there.

Also is it true that OBX copy other company design and slap their name on it???

well i look at it like this. You can get a DC header in good condition on ebay for 250 if u look hard enough........and u get get OBX new for a cheaper rate......but the DC are much better.......in the end if u get the OBX im sure ull be kickin urself for not shellin out a lil extra and gettin the DC......i think this way just because a header isnt something u wanna buy more than 1 time. Know what i mean?

i guess that depends on what you want it for, the look or for the build quality. i would say it sounds like a pretty good deal

i installed a pacesetter cat back on my old bosses hatch once. it actually doesnt look bad. they use some pretty thick piping and its all painted to aid in keeping away rust. although i did not like the buzzy sound it had. if you want a decent header for a decen price look into the kamikaze header's. there design is supposed to be better than the dc header when compared on nitrous and supercharged cars due primary tube diameter and length.

GReddy makes great headers, but i like to stick with one piece. dont get me wrong its not a performance issue..and two piece is easier to install, but i just figure the less parts the less there is to go wrong. but for that price if something goes wrong with the header who really gives a damn? go for it
