Painting the muffler?

Painting the muffler?
Hey,
The stock muffler on my carlooks like crap because it hangs really low and has an ugly dull silver color. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to paint it black to make itblend in better with my car. I would probably use high-temp paint (if necessary)but I was wondering if there would be a problem that could come up or something.
Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problems, as long as you use high-temp paint. I think Dupli-Color's high-heat engine enamel, or anyproduct like it for that matter, should work fine.
