Default Painting the muffler?

Hey,

The stock muffler on my carlooks like crap because it hangs really low and has an ugly dull silver color. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to paint it black to make itblend in better with my car. I would probably use high-temp paint (if necessary)but I was wondering if there would be a problem that could come up or something.

Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problems, as long as you use high-temp paint. I think Dupli-Color's high-heat engine enamel, or anyproduct like it for that matter, should work fine.

dont listen to him(not to be rude good sir) but the more coat you put on the more brittle it will get and in turn flake easier than like 2-3 coats........y do you think when your car gets painted they dont put 50 coats on? (besides price)..... i work in a paint store so yeah, i know whats going down...but make sure the **** is clean use prep sol, or anything that evaporates cleanly. Prep is KEY
