Default Quick question.

I have a 1992 civic cx with a d15b7, im going to put a Header on it while im putting it back together, the muffler was stock, note was it fell off about a month ago which made it sound kinda funnyI have to get a new one and weld it on ill do that here soon, here is the question how loud is it going to be with basicaly header and straight pipe? cause it was pretty loud with the stock exhaust and no muffler you can hear the exhaust at lower RMP but when you put your foot in it all you hear is the intake.

basicaly what i am saying is will i be able to stand next to it in the shop for the initial things ie checking leaks bleading coolant sys ect.. with headers and straight pip or should i just get the muffler and weld it on before i start it?

straights pipes will be louder than stock with no muffler. Don't do it. If you're going custom piping, then get a resonator and a muffler and call it a day. Straights pipes = [:'(]

no i am going to put a muffler back on it my questions is how loud is it going to be with stock piping with the muffler missing?

so the question is is the header going to make it louder without the muffler seeing as the header does not have a cat and the stock mani does?
