I heard that there are exhaust systems out there that offer high flow without all the extra noise. I'm not a big fan of the loud exhausts because the few times I've rode around in a car with them, I have just gotten annoyed, plus it interferes with music (especially if you have a sub). But, I do like the performance aspects of it. I believe companies make silencers as well, but do these silencers affect performance at all? What are some good brands? Also, has anyone heard of high flow exhaust kits that are quiet right out of the box? Thanks in advance.

 

evos are quiet. you can also buy silencers for any exaust system out there. you just get you tip size and buy the one that fits

 

The Greddy SP2 and the Apexi World Sport have a stock like look to the muffler, have good flow and are made well, and are some of the quietest exhuast systems around.

 

evos have a nice, low end growl, but theyre not too loud

whats the difference in GE 1 and GE 2?

 

2 is stainless steel. im not even sure you can find the 1 anymore though.

 

I was dikin around on the bay for the evo 2 and they are running a little around $450... is that good or bad? And is it direct bolt on....no cutting welding...? And Im a little disappointed aobu the power qoutes... 5-7... I though it was alot more than that.

 

I just put the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust on my civic and it was easy direct bolt up to the cat and every thing and it sounds really nice not like one of those pissed off weed eaters i mean its got a deep sound to it
