Quiet Exhaust?

Quiet Exhaust?
Hey I drive a 97 Honda Civic. I am looking to upgrade the exhaust system, but I do not want the noise that goes with it. Are there any out there that keep the noise to a minimal? What about those silensers, do they work without loss of performance? Thanks!

RE: Quiet Exhaust?
If you purchase an entire cat back exhaust system, you're going to have that noise that you don't want. the more air that flows through your pipes the louder it gets. The silencers reduce the sound, but it's still going to be way louder then stock. If you want to upgrade your system and still have it quite, you can look into the Greddy lineup, I heard that they are focused on making a quiter exhaust, but im not totally sure.

honestly its not even worth it.....if ur going to just do exhaust ur not going to get much power out of it.....and honda makes very good OEM exhaust. If u want it to be quiet and u want some decent power.......then get a cold air intake......header........and go to midas or something.......get a 2.5 inch pipe from the cat back and just get a new muffler.....but not a coffee can.......and ull feel some gains....and it wont have the weed wacker on roids sound.
