make sure that you put a resonator in the custom exhaust also...otherwise it will be loud

If you are wanting to put a header later on then, I wouldn't go with a magnaflow. When I had my old civic it had a magnaflow exhaust and it sounded good. But when the header came on and cat well,[sm=yikesomg.gif] man did it get loud!!!!! Oh, and it made it sound ricey.

Thats because you proabaly have a DX or and LX, it was loud because you have no cat.

yeah I have no cat on my lx right now. But the sound is muffled b/c I installed a silencer on the muffler. I'm putting on a new cat tomorrow though. So it'll make it more quiet. I have a apexi muffler. As long as you have it silenced you don't hear much.

ricey...sounds like a can of bumblebees....a typical sound of a bolt on muffler or cheap exhaust on a four-banger...

Being the proud owner of an EvoII i would always recommend it, but if you want something almost as quiet as stock that is very hard to find. EvoII is one of the least ricey out on the market, but it is much deeper than stock. I would say go with Apex'i WS2. It is cheaper than the Evo and a bit quieter also, but if you don't mind a deeper tone than stock, yet not ricey definately go Greddy EvoII.
