Default race headers

i own a civic 02ex and i wanted the dc race headers. but it removes the cat. my question is couldi just get a high flow cat and weld it on? andits illeagal to mess with the cat period right?btw i live in ga but i dontknow anything about the exhaust laws so if anyone knows anything please help.. thanks

you think i would pass emissions with dc race header and high flow cat to catback exhaust? lol.. what high flow cat would you reccomend?

Check out the sticky at the top of this section, called the truth about catalytic converters. it will give you the ins and outs of different kinds of cats be it stock, high flow metal catalyst or high flow ceramic catalysts. It is very informative and even features dyno charts.
I am in the same situation right now with my hedman header. i now have to get a converter and weld it at the end of the midpipe. But that should do you great through the visual inspection part.
