Whats the purpose of a rear axle back exhaust???

Still dont really see the purpose for a axle back cuz you can buy ur owned pipe and stick ur owned muffler on it.

Same reason they just sell SS mufflers. Some people don't wanna spend the cash on a full exhaust and they're happy with the "show" part.
