removing the silencer

Default removing the silencer

I have a maxspeed muffler on my 96 civic ex. I was just wondering if anyone knew if i could remove the silencer???? here is the link to the specific one i got. http://www.2kracing.com/product_info...oducts_id/1772
it doesn't say that you can remove it but I didn't know if you still could or not.

humm..it should say removible silencer, but its just held in by a screw at the bottom of the muffler tip..heres a pic, on the bottom of the tip you can see a screw, you undo that and the metal silencer comes out, you can see teh silencer in the tip as well

there is no bolt on mine though.

Maybe it isn't meant to be taken out.
