I'm looking to repair a car that is a "college car" without a lot of cost. Maybe someone has some advise or spare parts to do this. I need a manifold converter and exhaust pipe "A". The A pipe (part number 24001 or ? 19859) I will most likely buy new but I hoping to find a stock converter so I'm not getting into emissions problems. I'm finding the converter part number is 220391.

Any ideas where I can get this part without a lot of cost. Maybe left over from an exhaust change or a source other than the dealer. Dealer cost ouch!

Along with my past questions does anyone have any experience with Dorman products?
They have the assembly I need.

 

I would first check out craigslist. You would probably be able to find a used exhaust on there.

Next check out http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ they have pretty good prices, but again ebay and craiglist will give you your best deals. Also what exactly is wrong? Exhaust leak? And what is wrong with the cat. converter? Did you fail emmisions because of the cat.?
