Default resonator removal off ws2

so im going to be running my boosted y7 soon and i have the ws2 exhaust, yea its gonna choke it, yea im running 10.2 psi to make up for it, lol and i was just wondering how much would it help to remove the monstrous resonator on the exhaust, sell it on ebay, and throw on a straight flow 60mm pipe.

is it gonna be worth doing? does the resonator on a ws2 choke the exhaust really badly? it is like 2 feet long lol

thx guys

the resonator doesn't choke the exhaust system; the cat would. don't remove the resonator, it'll sound better with it. leave it on, just get bigger piping.

actually, a resonator will restrict more than straight tubing. Look down one, it has holes all inside it, guaranteed not as smooth as straight piping. That being said, I don't think it's worth removing for such a small gain.

just keep your current exhaust system. until you start getting very high numbers and have a built motor, it's kinda pointless to do it.
