Default Speed limiter removal?

Does anyone know how to eliminate the speed sensor on a 98 civic HX? it cuts off at 123mph and she still wants to pull, so can i override this? what about the rev limiter set at 7200? can this also be over ridden?

first off.... WHY ARE YOU GOING THAT FAST?????
unless its the race track which I HIGHLY DOUBT IT IS!!!!!!

at that speed you need tires that can handle that speed if not its only a matter of time till they blow up or seperate and at that speed it just takes a wobble and YOUR DEAD!!!!!!!
dont be stupid...... if your lucky youll just get pulled over by a cop instantly get your car confinscated and throw in jail with NO CHANCE of geting your liscence back as well as years in jail!!!!!
thiers no need to be going that fast.............

and as for the rev limiter unless you know what your doing dont remove it. you arent making any power up that high anyways and then you risk blowing your motor

a ticket is nothing.... going that fast is GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL DO NOT COLLECT 200DOLLARS... and thats WITHOUT a get outta jail card!

in short DONT DO IT.... you can die and you could take someone else out with yourself its just foolishness

Theres no need to take it off. Unless you are having a top speed race thats the only reason to take it off, but races dont normally go that long if you are racing 2 hondas on the street. So like addiction did, unless you have a death wish dont do it. I reached about 120 in my si in the middle of nowhere, yea it was fun but I probly wont do it again

There are speed limits for a reason, and unless you are at a track you have no reason to go that fast, and even then your car probably wouldn't go faster then it is goveren'd for anyway so it would still be pointless... and unless you have some actual mods on the engine to produce power above 7200rpm then there is no reason to remove that as well. you are just gonna blow your motor and kill someone/yourself if you removed those by the soudns of it.. so i am just gonna end it where it stands now
