if you dont have the resources or money to save up/get a hi-flow cat then the test pipe is ok...but 99 times out of 100 i will say save up the extra 40 bucks to get a universal magnaflow hi-flow.

and yes. short shifters are totally worth it.

Go to ebay and buy a Magnaflow High Flow cat, I paid $44, shipped I believe. Test pipes are usually around $30 shipped, spend the extra $14 it'll be worth it in the long run.

No, you won't pass emissions with a test pipe.

i kno u wont pass it with a test pipe, i was asking will u pass it with a high flow cat. considering it still is a catalytic converter which would mean it should clean the exhaust but since its "hi flow" that means some of the restrictive parts of a normal cat that cleans the exhaust would prolly be eliminated in turn causing it to not clean the exhaust as well...i would imagine...

another name for a test pipe is a straight pipe...meaning its just a pipe replacing the cat. so no...you will not pass emissions.

You should pass with the high flow. Considering the magniflow high flow's come with a 50 state street legal thing.

forgot to ask this question...do hi flow cats change the tone of the exhaust or make the exhaust a good bit loud like a test pipe would?
