Can somebody explain the correct way to clean a civic throttle body? Is it best to remove it, how is this done?

 

take off the intake tube, and spray the sucker down with throttle body/carb cleaner.
also, use your finger on the throttle thing on the side of the throttle body to open the butterfly while you spray some inside the intake manifold itself

 

a toothbrush helps a lot too
