and will it fit. I am under the impression the B and D TB's are interchangable...correct or no?

Yes it will fit a D, just make sure its port matched to the mani your using.

 

How hard is that to pull off? (port matching?

 

Sorry guys I'm a noob but what is the point of swaping out TBs? What are the pros of it? Also what is the mm size of a TB on a D series motor, will say D16y8 my motor.

 

Swapping the stock tb for a bigger one alows more air through.

As for the guy who started the post, I dunno if I'd go 65 mm, most people recommend 60, 62mm tops for them. I also don't know how much the stock intake manifold can be ported to, so you may want to find that out first. Just my .02.

 

thanks man. I have the Skunk 2 IM, so im thinking 62-65mm would be good. I had a S2 68mm and it sucked.
