for some stuff. for example, I dont buy grinder wheels there anymore. when you can see the wheel getting smaller as you grind, its not such a good deal anymore[&:]

**** that's alot of posts. Thanks for the info. I don't have one but I might just buy a ghetto one for now and a good one later. I could always take it into my shop class, but I like to do stuff like that myself you know. Plus, I really don't like other students working on my car or helping me with it. I either want me to do it or a mechanic. I don't know if anyone else feels like that or not.

o come on guys.. go snap-on. for 250 you can get one thats digital, and beeps and vibrates.

Go here i saw a torque wrench for $9.99, click style. I wanted to get it so bad, except i didn't have a way to get to the store. One of these days im gonna go there and buy a crap load of stuff cause its so damn cheap. Like 20min from my house. Looks like you guys beat me to it, but yea Harbor Freight does kick ***. My friend told me that the store is always packed.

i remember like a month ago my whole collage automotive class went to the city to see the city mechanics that worked there and this one mechanic pulled out this box that was like 3 feet long and he opened it up and it was this huge 5 foot long torque wrench that was put into three pieces that he had to assemble. He said it cost him $600 dollars and it can torque up to 600 ft lbs[sm=jawdrop.gif], i guess you have to have something like that when you work on school buses and front end loaders and trash trucks ect....
