v-tech head

Default v-tech head

i have a 93 honda civic hach 1.5 it has no compression in #3 so i started lookng for a new head and found a 1.6 v-tech head someone said that it might fit will it fit?

First off, its vtec. Secondly, if your car is a LX, without vtec and you're wanting to a put a EX head (which has vtec) and its the same gen and engine, then yes. It will work. Just gotta swap heads, plug in the vtec solenoid, and use a EX ecu, and you'll need it to be reflashed.

Im sorrr, are you trying to do a VTEC conversion? Because if not, then there is no use, because you will be ending up replacing other parts too.

you have no compression in cylinder 3 so you think the head is bad? did you do a leakdown to comferm that you need a new head, what are you goiung to do if your rings are shot
