Not to sound contrite but there is an explanation on AEM Power

"V2 - The Most Powerful Air Induction System Available

On a dyno graph, the area under the power band (or power curve) represents the amount of effort that an engine is producing. The larger the overall area under the curve, the more power your engine is making. The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber design that creates more power under the curve than any other intake system on the market."

AEM SRI-

"In most cases, AEM offers its Short Ram induction systems as an economical alternative to our Cold Air systems. However, during the development process, we found certain applications respond favorably to shorter inlet lengths over our longer Cold Air designs. For these applications (hot linked in our search results), we offer a Short Ram system only, since these are the best performing intakes for some vehicles. We perform extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, which allows our Short Ram systems to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. Dyno results and our testing procedures are in the search results section of our website."

if they make the AEM V2 for ur car then get it.....thats the best one............

short ram arent as good as cold air intakes...........so if they make a CAI for ur model car then it out peerforms the short ram intake. Howeever if they only make a short ram then that means ur car makes more power with that one.

so if u wanna spend $$$$$ then get the V2.........but the next best is a regualr CAI.........short rams are last on the list. They jsut dont make as much power,

Second one (CAI) is better than the first (SRI).
