Default Warm air?

Can someone explain to me the theory behind a "warm air intake". I know someone on the forum has one.

It's a joke. They prolly have a SRI, which takes air from around the engine, hence warm air intake.

yeah..warm air intake is only a SRI. they do give you performance over stock...but not as much as a CAI

try this fab new revolusionary .... warm air intake.... for the price of a cold air intake you can add a little more rice to your rolling rice ball...

actually...SRIs add HP over stock because they free up the flow of the air. if you've ever replaced the filter in your stock air box...pretty much the entire box is taken up by filter. you can see why a pipe with a K&N cone filter would add HP

of course. you can add 2-3 hp if the air has a faster more direct way of getting to the engine... the factory air box is a friggen maze.
