Default What difference does it make?

Hey guys i have an 05 ex coupe and i was wondering what the difference does it make that aem makes an intake especially for
manuel transmision? will it harm an automatic? i have a manuel so im not worried, also wanted to know if i buy this intake will it
make my cat-back system sound different at low rpm's?

I would assume that the reason b/c AEM doesn't have any CAI's for automatics is b/c the auto tranny gets in the way. But I bought a generic CAI off of ebay and my auto tranny didn't get in the way. I just had to remove the battery, and cut a hole in the mud guard to make it fit, then connect the battery back. It is a very tight fit but it works.

Bologny.... The origional CAI will fit any tranny, far as I know the V2 will only fit 5 speeds. But yours is an 05' so Im not positive. Yes, it will make your exhuast sound a little different, and you should notice a lil gain.
