Default What mods for LX manifold?

So the exhaust rusted off my EK tonight in true Civic fashion. It broke just before the resonator, so I'll need a cat back setup. I wish I had the money to get a new EX style header and cat, but I don't.

Anyway, I read in the FAQ that to get something like an EX exhaust to fit on a DX/LX downpipe, that modifications are needed. Does anyone happen to know what that would consist of? Is it just a matter of having a connector welded on, or something more extensive?

I ask because I'm looking at some used ones locally, and just want to see what I'm getting into.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Ah - thanks! Looks like I'd have to lengthen an EX one to fit the DX/LX downpipe.

FWIW, I decided to go ahead and order up a new Magnaflow cat-back. It's stainless, has a resonator, and installation should be less hassle than me trying to modify another exhaust.

Can't wait to quiet down my car - going muffler- and resonator-less is REALLY getting on my nerves.
