hey guys, I have an appointment for my car to get a custom exhaust done. I chose 2.25" piping mandrel bent, a magnaflow high flow cat, resonator, now im wondering what muffler i should choose? I had in mind something from apexi, how loud are these mufflers? Ive heard they can be loud? any other options i should consider? Thanks, and I finally got some subs in my car, rf punch 10's and a jbl 2 chanel amp which my buddy bridged for me, they sound pretty good, I will get pics of the exhaust when it is done.

 

Personally, I like my DNX muffler... I got it from Jegs.com for like $90, and it comes with a silencer and everything. I love how it sounds...

thanks for all the input, i like those video clips, that helps. I do have a magnaflow muffler on the stock piping right now, do u guys think that would sound good with bigger piping and high flow cat/resonator? That way i could save money, lol instead of buying a new muffler

 

Yeah I think it would sound alright. Sounds like a good option. If you wanted quieter, any kind of twin loop would be pretty cool.

yeah thats true, magnaflow does sound good on stock piping. I can get the magnaflow high flow cat, but im having a hard time finding shops that have resonators in stock, could i use my stock resonator with the bigger diameter piping and high flow cat? And I have decided I will use the magnaflow, it will save me some $$ right now/

 

ps, can I use a cherrybomb glasspack as a resonator?
