What type of Turbo would be good

Default What type of Turbo would be good

I have a 1994 Civic Coupe with a D seriousZ6 in it. Alli have is intake and a gutted cat.
what would be a good turbo to get that isnt a load of money?

oh yeah and i forgot to add i have DC headers.

I would buy a new "cat" before I worried with a turbo. Thats just me tho.

piece together your own kit, a header doesn't matter once you're turbocharged anyway, and you're gonna need a bigger exhaust too. Read "Building a Turbo Kit: What you Might Want to Know..." sticky at the top of the Forced Induction topic, it has alot of good info.

lol yeah what does this mean exactly? A nice Magnaflow high flow cat would be better than a gutted cat IMO, idk, thats just me though.

don't know if you know this, but with a turbo, the charge piping replaces the intake. also, it's time to face reality: turbo's are not cheap, especially if you don't know how to put a kit together yourself. engine management and tuning adds more money on top of parts and/or labor.

do what FlipHKD720 suggested. Read the "Building a Turbo Kit: What you Might Want to Know..." sticky at the top of the Forced Induction topic
