i just put on an sri but when i get on it from 3000-3500 it whistles almost like the sound of a belt squeeking. does anyone know what that might be.

 

That is the sound of the intake sucking in air! It will always do that and it sounds cool... you can always check for gaps by having a friend rev while you look around and make sure it is all sealed... I love that sound.
