00 SI Strut bar in a 00 EX
Im trying to install a 00 civic SI strut bar in a 00 civic ex...The issue is that I see where the indentations are to mount the strut but there are no bolts, threads, or even holesfor me to mount the strut.
Has anyone else done this...if so, help a brother out...
I was told this is a direct bolt on, but someone tricked my @ss.

If your talking about the strut tower bars then theyll just bolt up to where the top of your suspension is..

You need to drill the holes out and get some bolts. I have the same bar, it was a very easy installation.

MXS...I found your prior post after I posted... thanks for the help, so how do you like it? any difference?
I noticed you just used normal bolts with washers on the under side...Im guessing you had help with getting them in there since the bolts will fall out?
Also, I noticed that if I leave the stock air filter in there, there is a lack of clearence with the strut bar.

When I did mine for my Benen three point brace I simply laid the brace down and on my DX it had only two indentations (one on either side), so I just drilled the indentations with a bit as big as the bolt. Once I had my main hole on both sides I slide a bolt down into the hole thru the brace and then used a starting punch (well a phillips head screw driver but it still worked to center the bit) and then repeated the process......... all in all I actually spent more time worrying about drilling the towers than it actually took to do so.
